This Sunday mums will be able to enjoy a free day out at Dudley Zoo with the purchase of a full paying adult or child ticket.

The Castle Hill attraction has had a busy 12 months for births across the 40-acre site, welcoming a rare giraffe, geladas, Bactrian camels and a critically endangered Sulawesi crested macaque.

Marketing Manager Andrea Hales, said: "We have lots of wonderful mums on site who are doing a tremendous job of raising their offspring, from the tallest giraffe and first-time mum, Josie, to the tiniest pygmy marmoset and super-experienced mum, Pam.

"What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than by bringing your mum for a fun-filled day out exploring the zoo."

To receive free admission into the zoo on March 22 mums need to print a voucher from its website, or redeem the offer on its Facebook page, which can be shown on phones at the entrance.

Throughout the day, staff in the Oak Kitchen will also be serving up a free cupcake for all mums who purchase an adult meal in the Queen Mary restaurant.
