The popular tourist attraction is creating a number of temporary jobs to tackle their 'Santa Safari' event with vacancies open for a new Santa and his elves.

The seasonal roles last until December 30 with applications closing on September 16.

The positions will mean that successful applicants will work in Santa's Grotto, meeting and greeting families and young children with the aim of 'giving them all a magical Christmas experience'.

The perfect candidate will be flexible on hours and available to work evenings and weekends and be 'full of Christmas spirit'.

People applying for the role of an Elf will regularly work in retail and admissions assistant roles.

The 'Santa Safari' event gives children the chance to meet Santa, take a ride in his magical sleigh and have a look around his grotto as well as a walk through the North Pole.

The event is open at weekends from November 17 and then every day from December 1 - 24 with two additional days of December 29 and 30.

West Midland Safari Park is home to a number of critically endangered species with a four mile safari drive through, walk-through discovery trail, African village and lemur woods exhibiting hundreds of exotic species.
