Ghost investigation at West Bromwich's 'haunted' Manor House
It may be Christmas and New Years soon where alcohol will be enjoyed aplenty- but some people will be searching for different kinds of spirits in the coming weeks.
Paranormal investigators are gearing up for a ghost investigation at a landmark Black Country building which dates back to the 13th century.
The building's history is said to involve murder, grave robbing and insanity.
Paranormal Friends will be at The Manor House Museum, West Bromwich, on March 7 in a bid to seek out the dead.
The museum is said to be a hotspot for ghostly goings-on with reported activity including sightings of a medieval man, loud footsteps and the figure of a monk being spotted in the building.
Christopher Morris, co-founder of the Shropshire-based group, said: “The Manor House Museum is an incredible building with so much history and plenty of reported paranormal activity.
“We are delighted that we have been given the opportunity to investigate here.
“Lots of people have reported strange goings-on here, including the apparitions of young men being seen. These could possibly have been Bertrum and Nicholas, brothers from the 14th century. The former murdered the latter.
“One member of the team has also reported being grabbed by a spirit and having seen this as a dark shadow.
“Everything points towards this being a fascinating investigation and we can’t wait to get started.”
The investigation takes place on Saturday, March 7 between 8pm and 1am. Tickets cost £30.
