Mountain Music, a play from award-winning Littlebub Theatre and Farnham Maltings, will showcase stories around migration through music.

The story is told with three-part harmonies and a five-piece string band during the performance at the Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton.

It showcases how pioneers from the British Isles came to settle in the Appalachian mountains – bringing with them Celtic folk music which soon developed into what is recognised as country music.

It will take place at the venue on Dunkley Street on Thursday, with youngsters aged over 11 able to attend.

Doors will open on at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £8 - or £7 for concessions.
