Only Paris is his first release since transitioning into a full band sound and is set to be released on November 1 on all major streaming platforms.

After his debut track Pass Me By displayed his “engaging voice, great lyrics, and honesty", Noel is back but with a full band behind him.

Recorded at RML Studios in Wolverhampton and produced by the knowing ears of Ryan Pinson, it will carry a larger sound than previous work for his fans to hear.

"I chose to release the track as it's a meaningful song in which I use Paris as a metaphor for love," he told The Star, "in a melodic yet melancholic style that I made my own.

"The song is based on two people facing the challenges and obstacles of young love yet finding comfort in the romance of Paris. In an art imitating life scenario the song opens with just an acoustic guitar but quickly finds itself in a full band setting when the drums, bass and electric guitar kick in. This is to symbolise my evolution."

Only Paris will be available to hear on his Soundcloud profile as well as the usual streaming platforms, and can be pre-saved via the DistroKid website.

After starting out as a solo acoustic act, Noel recently decided it was time to make his sound bigger. His style is influenced by many different genres and artists, including Johnny Cash, The Cure and Joy Division, which have moulded his sound.

Having played his first plugged in show on September 28 at his home city's The Sunflower Lounge, he is looking to bring his band on stage with more dates. To keep up to date with the announcements, follow Noel on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter @thomasnoelmusic
