Black Country's WEAK13 land another award nomination
Black Country metalheads WEAK13 are heading to Birmingham in the hopes of picking up another award.
Nick J Townsend and Wesley Smith will be attending the Birmingham Film Festival next month for the second year in a row after being nominated for their work on one of their music videos.
"We have some good news," Townsend told The Star. "Looks like WEAK13, for the second year in a row, is representing the Midlands for an award nomination at the 2019 Birmingham Film Festival as we are now a finalist for this year's awards."

The nomination is for their sci-fi horror-themed music video for Cameras Are Everywhere, which is timely with Halloween just around the corner.
It was filmed at Base Studios in Stourbridge, where they are currently based, using the studio's new Infinity Room.
"This year we want to win," Townsend adds. "We're up against the best, but by that logic so are they."
It's not their first nomination of the year. Another video, for the single Closure, triumphed at the first ever Black Country Music Awards in June and the band will be hoping to make it a double delight for 2019 to go with other previous wins.

The duo are also multiple award-winners with their video production company NJTmedia. They produce promotional videos for bands all across the region and saw bands they work with regularly triumph at the BCMAs too.
