Aston Hall will be hosting Fright Nights: Hall of the Damned

Aston Hall will be hosting Fright Nights: Hall of the Damned, sending shivers down visitors’ spines from October 27 to 29.

The one-hour interactive experience features scares in never-before- seen locations within Aston Hall. Visitors will be able to venture into the Hall’s creepy cellars and attics, and will be accompanied by a guide.

Hall of the Damned is a completely new ghost story for visitors. They will learn about Sam Walker, a young blogger and the main character in the experience, who is researching Aston Hall. Sam discovers something shocking in the dark cellars, leading to many disturbing and chilling events, including Sam’s disappearance.

This year’s event will have start times of 7pm, 8.15pm, 9.30pm, and 10.45pm.

Kimberley Biddle, museum team manager at Aston Hall, said: “Fright Nights this Halloween is bolder and bloodier than ever before, with new frightening characters such as the ‘Beaked Man’ and a crazed nurse! Visitors need make sure they book early, as this fantastically terrifying event is popular every year.

"Not only will they be guaranteeing themselves a few scares this October, they will also be supporting Birmingham Museums Trust, a registered charity that helps keep magnificent buildings like Aston Hall open.”

Tickets cost £15 and will not be available for anyone under the age of 16. Booking and general information can be
