Christmas market heading to Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton is set to host a new Victorian Christmas Market this year, it has been revealed.

A new Christmas Market is coming to Wolverhampton

The three-day event will feature 120 stalls in Wulfruna Street and has been organised by LSD Promotions.

The firm said there will also be a Victorian-themed funfair, street food and a seating area.

A date has not yet been confirmed for the event.

Their website, states: "This fabulous three-day event is all set to reflect Christmas past and present with unique gifts, local produce, seasonal handcrafted and home-baked goodies, bespoke Christmas decorations and holly wreaths.

"There will be a wonderful range of food stalls, traditional roast chestnuts, mulled wines, craft ales, cocktails, festive novelties and exclusive gifts, accessories, jewellery, inspiring stalls to stir your imagination and a Christmas shopping experience offering high quality specialist stalls with a huge selection and range of products.

"The market will also include an extensive choice of street food with local and international dishes, world foods, and traditional delicious and mouth watering turkey, suckling pig, stuffing, chipolatas, and pulled pork.

"Entertainers will include street artists, choirs, vocalists, instrumental performances, chimney sweeps, dance displays, and Victorian themed stilt walkers.

The market will trade from 10am until 9pm on Friday and Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

The firm still has spaces for stallholders, who will be required to wear Victorian dress.
