Can you spot it? Eerie image of little girl captured on camera

A mum managed to catch what appears to be an eerie little girl in the roots of a tree on camera.

Steph Powers was taking a photograph of her son after a tree had fallen across Castle Street in Eccleshall, near Stafford, blocking the road. But after posting it to the community Facebook group Eccleshall Today, eagle-eyed people have pointed out a rather peculiar looking face. In the tree's roots, a white face, almost depicting that of a creepy girl from a film with eyes, nose and a mouth, stands out amongst the dark soil.

Steph Powers posted: "It's so creepy. My daughter things it looks like a lady!"

Motorists faced disruption on Thursday after the tree fell during a bad storm. The A519 Castle Street in Eccleshall was closed and traffic was queuing near the B5026 Stone Road junction because of the fallen tree.

It narrowly missed a nearby caravan and flattened signposts signalling the change of the speed limit.
